Chapter 1  •  The Almost Beginning

Like many good stories, ours started because of someone else's love story. We first met through mutual friends who had started dating, and a few casual group hangouts slowly turned into something more interesting when Ricky tried to ask Zeel out for coffee… and Zeel very kindly, very gracefully, said no. So naturally, that should have been the end of the story. Except, apparently, it was not.

Chapter 2  •  The Night That Changed Everything

Some time later, we ended up at a golf range, just the two of us, because everyone else happened to be busy. The plan was simple, swing the clubs a few times and be out by 8pm.

Instead, we talked and laughed our way well into the night. Somewhere between the golf swings and our serious lack of time management, we realized this might actually be something. From there came fun outings, spontaneous adventures, deeper conversations, and a connection that felt easy, exciting, and natural.

Eventually, Ricky decided that asking Zeel to be his girlfriend deserved more than a simple question. So, he made a PowerPoint presentation. It was equal parts hilarious, sincere, and unnecessarily professional. And somehow, against all odds, the pitch worked.

Chapter 3  •  From Almost to Always

Now, after all the unexpected turns, long conversations, exciting adventures, and one very iconic proposal later, we're so excited to be getting married on August 17, 2026. What started through mutual friends, survived a coffee rejection, and revived at a golf range has become the greatest story of our lives.

We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you and even more, we're excited for everything that comes after: building a home, building a life, and building a future full of love, laughter, adventure, and all the little moments in between. If the first few chapters are any indication, we have a feeling the best is still to come.
